As the Motion Designer on this project, my role was to create interactive instructional visuals that guided users on how to navigate and interact with the space effectively.
To attract attention and enhance the user experience, I developed dynamic motion design elements that were both visually engaging and highly legible, even from a distance. This required careful consideration of scale, visibility, and the unique conditions of each store location.

Conducted user interviews with 9 executives and managers to uncover pain points and needs. Analyzed competitors, identifying gaps and opportunities in design and user experience. Created personas and mapped user journeys to guide design decisions.
Incorporated animated transitions and parallax scrolling to create an immersive timeline visualization of 30 years’ worth of performances. Organized content to help users discover performances by genre, delve deeper into content features, and easily browse through the chronological archive.

Built the Hi-fi prototype, integrating the style guide and atomic design components. Conducted usability testing with 7 participants, iterating designs to resolve navigation and consistency issues. Collaborated with developers to ensure designs were feasible and aligned with technical requirements.
Explored navigational patterns, including an interactive bento box grid for articles and crafted a thematic narrative that allowed users to ‘travel’ through The Esplanade’s history.
